Welcome,

I have setup a database searchable via the internet. This database contains information pertaining to the sheet music that each particular choir has available and willing to share. Once a member, you will be able to add titles that you own and are willing to share. Basically, this database is a list of “who owns what” in the way of sheet music.

The site contains the names of Sheet Music along with Composer, Voicing, Quantity Available, Description, and other information. Choirs can access the site when they are looking for a different piece of music to sing, if they know what they want but need a couple of extra copies, instead of purchasing new copies. They can search to see if someone else has the copies and can borrow it from them for a period of time. You are able to search each criterion that is entered into the database. Access to only the owner's email address or phone number is available.

Each choir has the ability to add and remove any piece of music that belongs to them in the database. If there are multiple piece of music within a book, you have the ability to include a scanned image of the table of contents so that others might know what is included in that particular book, or if you want to include what the piece sounds like, you have that option also.

To have a look at what is currently available in the database; please use the “guest” login available. Unfortunately, this will only give you access to the first 10 records. To gain access to the complete listing and also other functions (i.e: searching, updating, modifying) the database, a nominal fee of $20 per year is required to help maintain the network connection, server, and any future upgrades to the system. This fee will also limit who has access to this information. Other choirs will only be able to get the name of the contact for a specific piece of music along with an email address, or phone number.

To sign up, please fill out the attached form. The username and password can be changed by you at your convenience and as many times as you wish once you are a member

The website where you can view the database is found at: http://www.ocml.ca/

The information provided below is for my records only. Other users of this database will only have access to your email address, or phone number. This is the means by which they will contact you in order borrow music.
